  1. Oil with lots of linseed, this painting has been heavily influenced by the previous sketchbook project. 90cms x 90cms.

Much of my time has been organizing the site specific installation aeolian FLOW - 300 isosceles triangular horizontally flying silk flags - differing hues and 3 meters long with bamboo structure to support. Alongside a Community picnic and free event program of Meditative Low Tide Walk & Draw, Tai Chi & Flashdance it's an invitation for all to come along, get involved, celebrate the significant beauty & health giving benefits of the great outdoors. By the sea in west St. Leonards, it's a beautiful area away from the town of Hastings starting Sept 8th - PICNIC at noon till 5 ish - the art stays up till 16th.

THE GATHERING of ORAL HIstories is a great part of how all can be involved - HAVE YOU MEMORIES OF THE 1933 OYMPIC SIZED BATHING POOL?
Filled with sea water and open to the elements, it was the second largest in Europe. Many people came to bathe, skate, dive, as bathing 'belle' contestants, boxing matches and many other types of keep fit. With an ethos of community and well being and remembered by many with an atmosphere of fun and adventure attached to it
    - LET'S TRY AND RECREATE SOME OF THAT - COME ALONG - ALL MOST WELCOME - WITH LOVE J X

It has been made possible by the Arts Council England through National Lottery Funding.
